I always had a love for old things, constantly asking for hand-me-down pieces from family members that had seen better days and were about to be thrown out. I was merely a teenager when I found a 1953 Delmonico console in an antique store for $10. It didn't work. One day later, I had her spinning records and sounding pretty good.
Since then, most of my free time away from my day job has always involved some resto/fix-up project or another. Some things you see featured on this website are my own personal items (my house is more or less a mid-century time capsule), some are customer pieces.
All projects are different, requiring various resources and occasionally hard-to-find parts.
